Hang On: One Day You'll Get It Right

This is for you, who have spent countless nights feeling frustrated and disappointed. I can feel how exhausted you are. First of all, you need to relax. Fun fact: you're not alone! I won't promise you anything, it's beyond my control. But I'm here to remind you; whenever you feel like giving up on love, just look up and believe that one day you'll get it right.

When I was younger, I often imagined myself meeting the love of my life, settling down and living happily ever after. But then life presented reality right before my eyes and showed me that love isn't that simple. It's not only rainbows and butterflies. I've had my dose of unimaginable pain and heartbreak. I'm no stranger to the dark days, to silently struggling, to hating myself, to being alone. No, I'll never blame anyone for everything that happened. I've come to the realization that it was really a blessing, a major lesson.

Life is constantly changing. Some people will come to your life and make you learn about something. They'll break your heart. They'll make you disappointed. They'll make you feel helpless and useless. Not long after that, someone will make you smile again. They'll make your heart flutter and you'll start to believe once again. But then, they left you feeling empty, unwanted and confused. You go home with a broken heart once again. I can feel the fear in your heart to completely opening yourself again, subconsciously you'll start to put walls and boundaries.

Darlings, every failed relationship will break your heart open, to a brand new chapter, a bigger, better one. It can be really hard (especially when you're getting older) watching your friends couple-up while you're getting drunk in singleton struggling to get second dates. And that's totally okay, there's nothing weird about you. You need to learn how to stabilize yourself first and embrace the inevitable changes that this life will bless you with. Enjoy the seasons of life, enjoy every process and the people who come and go with them.

The best thing you can do for yourself right now is to focus on becoming a better woman. Give yourself love and affections you always longed for. You deserve every bit of good this world can give. Instead of seeking outward sources to keep you anchored, you need to embrace the independence and learn to be whole within. Once you master this, I can guarantee everything will be easier. This makes you not only more attractive, but it will make the right person appreciate you, they will see the strength in you.

I'm not going to sugarcoat it, I'm a firm believer that when the time is right, the universe will put someone in our life who will have the most of the qualities that we're looking for in a partner. Somewhere in this world, someone is aching to be with you. This one will respect you and make you feel safe, sure and loved every single day. He/she will love you beyond your physical appearance and admires your strength and adores the way you think. You don't need to be anyone else or beg for their love and affection. This is part of the reasons why I won't settle for less. I don't mind waiting. I believe that all beautiful things in life are worth the wait.

I know it's hard to believe when things don't go your way, but please, please believe that it's still possible to find the love that you deserve. One day you'll find someone who is worthy for you. You'll find someone who will embrace you completely. Until then, please don't give up.
